After exploring this area in the morning, we plan to enter Kochi Prefecture***. Shishikui in Tokushima and Kochi are right next to each other. <\/o:p><\/span><\/div>\n

*A Road Station (roadside station, “Michi no Eki” in Japanese) is a government designated rest facility. It is set up on roads and highways across Japan. At a Road Station, people can take a break and receive a local or tourism information. Furthermore, it can be used for communication spaces to distribute various “local information and services.” In addition, by locally managing a Road Station and proactively utilizing the facility, people can closely cooperate with each other that it stimulates local community and leads to local revitalization. At a Road Station, there are of course toilet, free parking spot, restaurants to serve local foods, shops to sell local products and souvenirs.<\/span>

As of March 2011, 970 Road Stations are registered in Japan under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transportation and Tourism.<\/span><\/div>\n
