This beautiful village Iwaguruma is where we INAKA Backpacker family lives! I moved to Iwaguruma from Kamakura of Kanagawa Prefecture in May 2013.

Everyday, living in the countryside, I am usually very busy with work.

But… view of the countryside Iwaguruma just makes you calm. In daily life, it is so nice to have such natural environment.

Iwaguruma in Anamizu Town is a village of fisherman and farmers. It is surrounded by very low mountains and the sea which is very calm and quiet most of the season, like a lake because it is surrounded by islands. Its prefecture is Ishikawa and the peninsula is Noto.

Ikuma Nakagawa opens “INAKA Backpacker House” which is located in Kawashiri Anamizu Town, Hosu-gun Ishikawa Prefecture in Japan. INAKA Bakcpacker House is a multi-purpose house space that features shared house, office, collaborative workspace, amongst others.
