I have not shoot the photos of stars here yet, but the lighthouse area would a great place to shoot photos of night view such as the Milky Way stars.
It Is on a high cliff and sometimes on the bottom of the cliff you may see people fishing.

Furthermore, location of the lighthouse on the tip of Noto Peninsula is known as the center of the whole Japanese islands.
However, according to my internet research, there are different areas claiming other points are the centers of Japanese islands. Rokkouzaki on Noto Peninsula is one of them.
Ishikawa Prefecture is located on “Sea of Japan” coast and its prefecture’s most of northern part is Noto Peninsula.
The Cape Rokkouzaki area is open 24 hours. You can park your car at the Roadside Station Noroshi. From the Roadside Station Noroshi, it takes 10 minutes to the Rokkouzaki Lighthouse area on foot.
