Recently, before my daughter goes to her school in the morning, my daughter and I go fishing at Iwaguruma harbor and afterward pick up vegetables mainly tomatoes. Well, only if she gets up early enough.
We have the ocean as a huge “swimming pool” and mountain as a “vegetable garden.” In addition, in the beginning of the spring season, wild mountain vegetables are all over.
We are so fortunate to have this beautiful, natural, and “self-sufficient” environment so closely.
The ocean is not actually in our BACKYARD! But since not so many people are around, it makes you feel that everything around you in this village is in OUR BACKYARD!!!
